[Read full article here] 9 May, 2019 (St. Mark the Evangelist) - What more evidence does one need to prove that the Vatican - including the Pope - have absolutely no intention in trying to resolve the sex abuse crisis in the Church. These norms just prove that the Vatican is endeavouring to be as clericalist as possible: keep the abuse crisis within the confines of the Church, and don't, on any account, allow the lay-faithful or civil authorities to be involved! As we have been used to over the years, it is just Business As Usual for the Vatican.
