Notre-Dame in flames: A perfect metaphor for the Church Universal.

The harrowing news, and its accompanying footage, of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral being razed sent chills down my spine. The reason: it is a perfect visible symbol not only of the Razing of the Faith we have been suffered to endure for the last 50 years, but a sign from Almighty God that He would rather His Church be turned to smouldering ash rather than that She be inhabited by heretics of the worst kind; the kind that have no dignity and thus do not depart from Her, but rather remain within Her bosom, and poison the Font of Salvation with their damnable doctrines. 

I shall not here speculate to any length whether this awful sight was an accident or a planned thing, since either way was permitted by the Divine Providence. I am inclined to the latter opinion, viz, that it was planned, due to the spate of activity of late regarding the burning of Catholic churches by adherents of the Unspeakable Religion.

This icon of Catholicism in France and in Europe is a sign of the Razing of French Catholicism, which has suffered much since the days of the Pretended Enlightenment that took France from sanity to madness; from Catholicism to Heathenism; and not only France, but the whole world.

Almighty and Everlasting God, Who in days past inspired the faithful of France to glorify Thy Holy Name by the erection of mighty churches, and this Cathedral to be the crown and star of all their works, consecrated to Thee under the memory of Thy Most Holy Mother, Our Lady of Paris; look with clemency, we beseech Thee, upon the Eldest Daughter of the Church, that is, the nation and people of France, who were the first kingdom to convert to the true Faith, and by the cries and sighs which we offer Thee through the intercession of the same Most Holy Mother, Our Lady of Paris, do Thou see it meet and right to restore the nation of France to her ancient Faith, and to return her to the unity of the Catholic, Apostolic and Roman Church, so that she may once again glorify Thee by the erection of even more mighty churches, and become the joy and glory of Holy Mother Church. Through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Who liveth and reigneth with Thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end. Amen

O Mary, Lady of Paris and Queen of France, have special regard for the people of France, and by the sorrows of Thy Immaculate Heart, convert them back to the Faith which they once professed, and which they once gloried in. Show forth once more the power of Thy intercession, and defend that nation once hailed as the Eldest Daughter of the Church. Amen

St. Louis, beloved King of France, from the height of thy heavenly throne, deign to protect thy people, and rule them as once thou didst rule them in past days. Pity them, most faithful father of France, and by the grace of thy intercession do thou keep France in the unity of the Catholic Faith. Amen
