24 June 2019 (Mark Anthony Beale - St. Mark the Evangelist) - After perusing through an article on Rorate Caeli regarding the Instrumentum Laboris (Working Document) of the upcoming October synod on the Amazon, and having already an awareness that it is full of earth-worship, eco-worship and other neo-pagan rhetoric, I couldn't help but be floored with this passage sited in the aforementioned article: Hence, “we need to grasp what the Spirit of the Lord has taught these peoples over the course of the centuries: faith in God, Father-Mother-Creator; the sense of communion and harmony with the earth; the sense of solidarity with their fellow-man; the project of “living well”; the wisdom of a thousand-year old civilization the elders possess and which has effects on the health, cohabitation, education and cultivation of the land; the relationship with nature and Mother Earth; the capacity of resistance and resilience of the women in particular; the religious rites expressed; the relations with their forbearers [sic]; their contemplative stance and sense of gratuity; the celebration and festivity and the sacred sense of the land” (121). [Emphasis mine] Father-Mother-Creator? I cannot help but ask the question: Is the Dogma of the Most Holy Trinity - the very same which was directly revealed by Christ Himself at the end of St. Matthew's Gospel, being redefined by the Modernists? Are we witnessing the next step of the Modernist Revolution in the Church? Is the synod claiming that the Divine Word has taught the Amazon natives a doctrine contrary to the one He taught all other men? Is the synod accusing the Divine Word Himself of lying to us?
All I can say is that it will be a cold day in Hell before I profess anything other than what Mother Church has always taught! On this Solemnity of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, I pray that the Holy Precursor intercede for the Church, and may he defend the faithful in the profession of the True Faith!
