Apologies for hiatus

25/3/2019

Dear friends,

Apologies for my hiatus. Around October 2018 my father became very ill, and by December was hospitalised. Sadly, he was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, and passed away on 30th January 2019. As you can imagine, I am still grieving his passing. His death is particularly painful for me as I was close to my father, and also because I have now lost both my parents (my mother passed away about three and a half years ago).

I have had to move house. I am now living with a priest who has a flat (apartment for my American readers) in his very large presbytery, so he has kindly allowed me to move in. Thus, I have had a lot to take on in the last few months, and it isn't even finished!

However, I have not been entirely gone. I have been sharing things on the Facebook page, and also been somewhat active on the Youtube channel as well.

I have pondered about creating a small business selling items with Christian themes on them. I have created a Facebook page for it. I have decided to call it Ecclesia (Latin for Church). I am hoping that it takes off in the not too distant future. Please support this endeavour with your prayers, and later with your purchases if possible.

I ask for your prayers at this hard (and strange) time that I am currently facing. The Lord sure likes testing me and putting me in frightening experiences. I cannot imagine what the reason is behind all this, but I am sure that one day I will find out.

I am hoping that I can get back into doing things. I am not always be as active on the site, but you can follow me on Youtube where I am hoping to upload more videos. Because I am currently using an old laptop (due to my newer one deciding it doesn't want to allow the screen to work!) I am using my phone to record and upload videos, so I am afraid they are very simple unedited videos. But I hope they serve their purpose.

I pray that my readers may have a fruitful Lent and a very blessed Easter to come!
